Election Process for the Board of Directors

There are four components to a strong and thriving Cooperative business: The owners, the staff, the long-term vision, and the Board of Directors.

Individuals serving on the Moscow Food Co-op’s Board of the Directors have an array of responsibilities. The Board is tasked with determining progress toward the Co-op’s Ends, evaluating Co-op management, and setting long-term goals for the Co-op. Our Directors work together to guide the Co-op.

Our Board of Directors has 9 members total. Click here to meet the current Board. Each year, 3 seats on the Board become available. These seats are open to new applicants, as well as incumbents. Per our Bylaws, each Board member may not run for more than 3 consecutive 3-year terms, (excluding partial terms when a Director is appointed to fill a vacancy).
